BB&R Press

I am writing to you to advise and confirm changes to the publication and distribution of the books Inside Bordeaux by Jane Anson and Inside Burgundy by Jasper Morris MW.

These titles have been published by BB&R Press since 2010 with the first edition of Inside Burgundy.  It was a unique arrangement within the publishing world and it allowed titles of unique scholarship and global renown to be created outside the time pressures of the traditional publishing process.

BB&R Press has been, and remains, a resounding commercial success. Sales of the two current titles – Inside Bordeaux (published 2020) and Inside Burgundy Second Edition (published 2021) – have exceeded 35,000 copies and the books are on sale in 20 countries.  But with both titles so firmly established, now is the time to hand the full rights to the authors by mutual agreement so that they can put focus on promoting their own work through their websites.

Berry Bros. & Rudd will continue as a retail stockist, but all other enquiries should be addressed to Segrave Foulkes, who have been our publishing partners in BB&R Press since the start and they will henceforth represent the authors’ interests, as well as continuing to develop the “Inside” series.

It has been a privilege to work with Jane, Jasper and Segrave Foulkes on these seminal wine books and Berry Bros. & Rudd is proud that it has been able to play an important role in their creation.
